Music

Music has been a large part of my life since I was a child. I joined the choir in elementary school and have continued my musical studies ever since.

This is my first year at Visitation School and I am very excited to explore the musical world with all of my new students.  I have many new ideas for possible lessons and I hope that as the year goes on I will be able to teach my students at least as much as I will learn from them.

In college I studied Composition and Voice and graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelors of Music in Composition, Cum Laude.

When I am not teaching, composing, or singing, I am swing or blues dancing in Seattle. I am a member of the Compline Choir at St. Mark's Cathedral. I love biking, hiking, cooking, and eating. My younger sister, Kaylee, attends Berklee College of Music in Boston and my youngest sister, Julia, is a junior in high school.
